Representatives from Atlanta Massage School Attend American Massage Therapy Association Council of Schools Leadership Conference

Leticia Allen, owner of Atlanta School of Massage and former president of the Council of Schools, shares the mission of the AMTA Council of Schools: To promote excellence in massage therapy education. The Federation's Massage Board Licensing Examination (MBLEX) has been adopted by the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy.

The Massage Therapy Foundation, whose primary purpose is to fund research studies in massage therapy, presented their newly-launched Journal of Acupuncture and Meridian Studies. The Journal of Acupuncture and Meridian Studies is a peer-reviewed, quarterly online journal featuring high-quality studies related to basic and clinical acupuncture and meridian research.
